As we turn the page into 2026, I am excited to share that after months of careful consideration, Hammack Lane & Company, PLLC has been acquired by Jacobs & Company CPAs and Advisors, PLLC. This move represents a significant milestone in our journey to enhance and expand the services we offer to our clients. Jacobs & Company is a well established firm with a strong reputation for serving small businesses and high net worth individuals. The firm is led by Joshua Jacobs, a dual-certified lawyer and CPA. His experience in tax and legal matters has allowed him to provide invaluable guidance to private companies and individuals alike. This move will expand the resources available to you and broaden the scope of services offered. In addition to traditional tax, advisory and accounting services, Jacobs & Company can also provide assurance services such as audits, reviews, and compilations. Our Northcross office and staff will remain in place. I will also be available to Joshua, as needed, during the coming busy season.

I would like to introduce myself……My name is Joshua, and I have been in public practice for over 15 years and have had the privilege of serving clients in many different types of businesses. Additionally, I was in private accounting for almost 8 years, as well as a year of full-time legal service. Last year I decided to expand my practice and spent months getting to know Jamie Hammack. I have learned that Jamie serves the same types of clients and in the same way as I have been accustomed. I have heard many great things from him about his clients and how much he has enjoyed serving them over the years. I am also very impressed with his work ethic and documentation procedures. My intention is to continue with the great quality of service you have been accustomed to with Jamie. Over the next few weeks, the two of us expect to have a smooth transition.
